Dubai Visa for GCC Residents

Dubai Visa for GCC Residents

The full form of GCC is Gulf Cooperation Council and the residents of these countries don’t require a UAE visa to enter Dubai. The following countries are included in GCC:

  • Bahrain
  • Oman
  • Kuwait
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Qatar
  • United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Dubai is a dramatic destination and who doesn’t want to visit when it comes to travel privileges? To visit UAE, Dubai immigration allows GCC residents with less documentation for visa applications. Before boarding to flight, all residents of GCC require a pre-arranged UAE visa. When the profession of GCC residents falls under the category of skilled worker then they have to apply for a Dubai visa and gain an advantage, unlike GCC nationals.

Document Requirement for GCC Residents

To gain a Dubai visa, the visa on arrival is granted to the United Arab Emirates to GCC citizens:

  • A passport with a validity of 6 months along with a resident permit while traveling outside or within the GCC countries.
  • The passport validity for 3 months will also work for some countries.
  • If the residence permit is valid for 3 months and remains valid for the next 6 months upon arrival then GCC citizens are eligible for travel to other GCC countries.
  • Upload a scanned copy of the passport's external cover page for security verification. (Mandatory).
  • Confirmed flight return tickets and hotel booking slips (Optional).
